Cross Country: Cross Country had an outstanding season. At districts, the girls finished fourth and the boys finished first, qualifying both teams for state. This is the first time since 1984 that both girls and boys qualified for state. At state, the girls took 19th place and the boys placed fifth overall which is a new school record and Otto Erhart got 15th place overall.

Football:. It was a challenging season but not from a lack of effort. Players worked hard and ended with a 3-7 record, even ending the season with a well-earned win.

Volleyball: Captains Emma Okamura, Stella Foley, and Hannah Wu led their team all the way to the district finals. The team had a record of 13-2 in WESCO and placed second in WESCO. They beat Meadowdale and Snohomish to go to state. At state, they swept their first opponent and ended with an overall record of 18-5.

Boys Tennis: The boys tennis team dominated with a 13-1 record. The team placed first and third in singles at sub-districts and first and second in doubles. At districts, junior JD Drake, placed second in singles. Doubles players Riley Boyd and Eli Sheffield placed third and Peter Kosten and Xander Gordon placed first. They move on to state in the spring.

Boys Water Polo: Boys water polo had a great season, with a 10-2 record. One of the highlights of the season was beating Sammamish who was the number one team on the Eastside. They even made it to districts. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments!

Girls Soccer: The team had an outstanding season with an impressive record of 15-0 in WESCO and 18-2 overall. They outscored their opponents 70 to 2 in WESCO and won districts defeating Shorecrest in the District Championship. They team qualified for state making it all the way to the round of 16.

Hi I'm Kat, she/they, and this is my first year on Newspaper! I joined the newspaper because I would like to create art that can be shown in the paper and that can help give a good visual for the stories. I also am open to learning more about the process of page design and interviewing, so I'm excited to improve my skills in those areas!
