“I want to personally thank Ms. Silver for her constant efforts to keep the classroom alive, and for being a supportive and respectful teacher. She makes English class fun, which can be a tough task!” –Anonymous
“I just wanted to thank her for all of the amazing and goofy times that I got to have in her class. I had her classes for Sophomore and Junior year and I have to say there is not a single teacher that has the same energy as she does. She may be strict on some points in her classes but overall she provided me and I’m sure many others the best English class experience that we’ve ever had. Thank you Ms. Silver for being yourself and an amazing teacher. ” – Jaylen Freudenthal
“I would like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Fleischman, for being the most caring and kind teacher at Shorewood. He is always prepared and ready to help students, and brings a warm smile to the classroom.” –Anonymous
“Mr. Bagley – Thank you for making my senior year awesome. I really enjoyed physics with you as the teacher. Thank you for all the laughs.”- Emma Cloud
“I never really liked science till I was put in Mr. Bagley’s physics class last year. Though it wasn’t the easiest class, he always made learning fun and every moment memorable. The environment he created in the class made everything super fun and friendly. Though science still might not be my favorite subject I will always look back on my time in the class as one of my favorites at Shorewood.” – Ursula Stickelmaier
“She was the best history teacher I ever had. My class was 6th period, and never once did I feel tired or bored in her class. Sukol was super interactive with her teaching, keeping all her students on their toes. I loved everything I learned in that class, and I still apply it to my new learning now! Thank you so much Ms. Sukol. ” – Anya Farwell
“For the past three years Ms. Gade has been an amazing mentor in the newsroom. Whether it’s clarifying AP-style rules for us or staying late after school while we lay out the paper, Ms. Gade is always there to help out (and bring snacks). I’m going to miss working on the Tempest newspaper so much but I’m going to miss working with her even more. The students that are going to work on the newspaper next year are so lucky to have her as a teacher.” – Ursula Stickelmaier
“When I started my senior year of high school, I can say strongly that I wasn’t exactly looking forward to taking Senior Civics. Although I had heard nothing considerably bad about civics, I didn’t know what to expect from the class, and as it was a graduation requirement, much like health was freshman year I was uncertain, to say the least. But, I can now say with pride that I loved my civics class, and loved my civics teacher Ms. Kim. Walking into class every day, Ms. Kim was full of energy and shared that energy with the rest of her students. Having interactive conversations with my fellow classmates over the Supreme Court Justices, and Ms. Kim and her epic stories of “lunch” with a Supreme Court justice was the cherry on top of the sundae. Everything Ms. Kim taught me, made my interest in civics grow, even leading me to want to take political science classes in college. Thank you Ms. Kim for being an awesome teacher, and having the enthusiasm and happiness that not everyone can top.” – Anya Farwell
“Mr. Messner is the type of teacher who knows how to teach his students in a way that is both effective and super fun. He never has a dull moment in class but has taught me so much about the world of psychology. Definitely take AP PSYCH!” – Ally Bouchard
“Mr. Hunter made me excited to go to Civics everyday. He made learning fun and I learned a lot of important things. Not only was he a great teacher but he was also an amazing person. He was super kind and funny. He made everyone feel welcome in his class. Thank you so much for making Civics a class I will never forget.” – Amelia Severn
