Boys Baseball: The team ended the season with a total league score of 13-4 and an overall score of 14-8. They lost to Edmonds-Woodway in a district-plane- to state game. Wyatt Tonkin, head baseball coach, adds, “The season in baseball was an up and down roller coaster ride. It was a good season as we were very young and got a lot of experience and needed playing time after dealing with Covid for two seasons. I was very proud and impressed with our group of young men as we went through the season. It was an extremely difficult schedule and it served to make us a strong contender for next year. We did make it to districts, where we played well but unfortunately came up short. A highlight was a sweep of the cross town Scots. I look forward to a very good year next year and also would like to thank our seniors for their dedication and hard work and wish them well in their future endeavors.”

Girls softball: With a great season coming to a close, the final scores of the season are 15-7 varsity season and 4-8 for JV totalled the season out to 12-3. The varsity team made it to districts, losing both games against Arlington and Marysville-Getchell. “The team was led by four seniors who all played important roles. Rebecca Carson was the primary pitcher who had a 2.38 ERA and was also a solid hitter. Gracie Long played shortstop and was one of the best defensive players in the league. Katie Ponomarchuk showed great speed in center field to make several fantastic catches in big moments. Skylar Tillman had our second highest batting average and played an excellent first base and was also a strong secondary pitcher. The team had our best overall record in many years and was defensively one of the best in the league with solid catching by Riley Wheaton who threw out quite a few runners throughout the season,”  says Paul Jensen, softball coach.

Girls water polo: With a successful season the team is heading to District Champs. Wish them good luck for the rest of their season.

Girls Golf: Girls golf had a great season and ended with a districts competition.

Girls Tennis: The team ended their season with scores of 6-0 league and 13-0 overall with all wins. They are still competing in districts. Good luck team! Rylie Gettmann was in the girls singles final May 18, and headed to state in Richland, WA May 27-28.
