Rodas, you are such a bright young woman. You have a kind heart and a quick wit, on top of being a smart and capable student. It has been a pleasure to watch you grow these last few years, and I know your future is as bright as you are. Shorewood was lucky to have you as part of our community, and we wish you all the good things!

I know you will move forward in every way with positivity and carry your light and let it shine bright.
Haley – you were such a bright spot to our Honors Bio class! I appreciate your work ethic and am so impressed with your ability to manage your golf commitments and school commitments. Best of luck to you! Mrs. Mann

Wright, Caleb
Caleb, I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to be your teacher for awhile. Keep standing tall, working diligently, and asking great questions. Expect the best from yourself, and encourage the best in those around you. There is nothing you can’t accomplish, and I’m looking forward to hearing about what your adult self becomes.
Dear Caleb, I consider it my great blessing to have been your teacher for the last two years. The kindness you showed me when I became part of the AVID family made coming into that tight cohort easy. I’ll miss our conversations and your unique look at life. We can pick up where we left off when you visit once this is all over. Good Luck in your next chapter of life.

Wymer, Gentry
Gentry, It has been my pleasure getting to know you over the last 4 years! Of all the students I have taught I know you are going to do well after high school since you know yourself so well and have such confidence. Anita, I’ve always admired your can-do attitude. You seek to challenge yourself always, and manage to bring creativity and levity even in difficult circumstances. I know you’ll meet whatever challenges that lie ahead with grace and greatness. -HL
SAS will never be the same. Your laughter, jokes, and (usually) upbeat attitude helped the underclassmen learn what life at SW is really like 🙂 I’m going to miss your ‘let’s argue about something’ mentality, but how nicely you always debated!

Zapanta, Ben
I know this year was not easy for you and I’m guessing an international pandemic has not made it better. Just know that I’m rooting for you. When you wrote in my class about some of your struggles, they reminded me of my own attempts at figuring out what matters and what it’s all for. It’s not easy for anyone. I wish you the best in all of your future endeavors!

Zobrist, Jonathan
Blake, I can’t wait to see what you do after high school. Every day in class I had the feeling that you were capable of just about anything and that it was just the hidebound traditions of high school (i.e. me) weighing you down. Not only that but you never failed to think about how your actions affected others. You always seemed to think about the greater good. Good luck in whatever you choose to do.
Blake – so grateful to get to know you in class. You are kind and respected by others. Best of luck on the journey ahead. Know that you have everything in you to be a success! Mrs. Mann
